About Literati

'Twas in 1995 that the first incarnation of what was later to become LITERATI,came into being. Technospect - 95 as the event was called, was the first of national level students technical symposia organised by REC Kurukshetra. 1996 saw the event metamorphosing into Literati.

The years 1996,97, 98, 99 saw Literati striding towards excellence. The event as of today is one of the country's most prestigious technical events for technical and mgmt colleges. It has had an active participation of students of all leading institutes of the country. To add to the charm of this event, there are mind-breaking sessions of quizzes & software and hardware development contests to enhance its virility & versatility. There are workshops & corporate sessions with eminent industrialist & educationalist along with various guest lectures, movie shows ,prof. nights etc. Cultural programmes are also organised on a major scale to enliven the spirit of the event.

 Literati'2001

                  In pursuit of excellence

The onset of spring heralds a new beginning. Pristine sunshine, abundance of green leaves and the morning dew paints the environment in colors of life. Their thaws the mind of the recker, long frozen and awakens in its fertile furrows on ancient fever, feeding on the gnarled runnels of his grey cells of unsuspecting brilliance, growing in form and proportion, engulfing everything in its dynamism, maturing and finally exploding upon the national technical scenario as The Literati 2001. Of course, the piece de resistance of this symposium will be the paper presentation spanning fields as diverse as Electronics & Communication Engineering, Quality Engineering, Computer Science & Engineesring, Innovative marketing trends etc. In addition Software Development contests, Quizzes, Guest Lectures by imminent professors, Panel Discussions, technical exhibitions, intimate tete-a-tetes with corporate bigwigs cultural programmes et al, will comprise a unique smorgasbord.

But all this is then just another small step forward, a small step in pursuit of excellence.
